The Engineer Behind the Work

I started in the earth sciences — a PhD in Petroleum Engineering, building machine learning models for CO2 storage and reservoir analysis. What I loved most was never the geology itself. It was the engineering around it: the pipelines, the automation, making complex systems reproducible and reliable.

So I followed that instinct. I moved into cloud and data engineering full-time in 2023, and in 2024 founded Cloud Core Hub LLC — building for clients, and for myself.

  • Designed automated workflows for geologic model construction, seismic interpretation, fluid-substitution modeling, and geomechanical analysis of CO2 storage in the Bakken Formation.
  • Applied data mining, rock-physics modeling, and machine learning to predict subsurface material behavior and assess enhanced oil recovery potential from multi-source geophysical data.
  • Developed reproducible Python scripts to standardize processing across large geophysical datasets, significantly reducing manual analysis time.
  • Began cloud and data engineering work in 2018 alongside graduate research, building the foundation for a full transition into software and infrastructure engineering.
